Partners in Economic Development Program
The Chelan Douglas Regional Port Authority (CDRPA) is a regional leader in efforts to achieve long-term economic vitality for Chelan and Douglas Counties.
Effective economic development requires a dynamic synergy of people and organizations working together. The CDRPA acknowledges that non-profits and local governments play an important role in economic development. The CDRPA has created the Partners in Economic Development Program to make strategic economic development investments in rural communities in Chelan and Douglas Counties.
There are two programs available - one specifically for non-profit organizations and another for local municipalities.
Project Year 2024
The Chelan Douglas Regional Port Authority’s (CDRPA) Partners in Economic Development Program has been successful in assisting numerous nonprofit and municipality organizations with a wide variety of projects over the past three years. To best serve our communities and better align with our mission to “work together to enhance the economic vitality of North Central Washington”, a few adjustments to the Partners in Economic Development Program were made in 2022.
The Partners in Economic Development Program transitioned into an opportunity fund. There will not be a yearly call for projects for this program. When non-profits or municipalities have a project/program arise throughout the year and it aligns with our mission and goals to provide sustainable living wage jobs and stimulate private sector capital investment, we welcome application submittals at any time until the budgeted funding for each program (nonprofit/municipality) is fully exhausted.
